Background and Perspective
My career experience is very different from most suppliers of website solutions, thus both my perspective on the Internet and my approach to using it are somewhat unique.
For over 25 years I have guided organizations in streamlining their operational processes and enhancing their financial performance. My strengths lie in quickly grasping the vision of top management and defining specific solutions that achieve their strategic and tactical objectives. Usually the vehicle for these solutions is technology.
Early in my career it became obvious to me that "beginning with the end in mind" was the key to achieving results. It was also apparent that the greatest benefit was realized by assuming the perspective of the user of a system. I found the best design for a technology solution was one that put complexity in the software application, not on the shoulders of the user. |

I view the Internet as a tool, a marvelous communications vehicle, that can contribute significantly to the growth and success of an organization. But to realize optimal benefit, a website must be carefully engineered.
The first step in this process is understanding that a website can be so much more than a brochure. It can be a way to stay in touch with clients, educate prospects, and consumate sales. It can provide valuable feedback from your target market. It can increase awareness of your brand and your message. The potential is huge.
Next is defining your target market and identifying specifically what it is that they need to know to do business with you.
The final step is designing the tool to both provide that information and to engage the visitor as if you were having a conversation. It does work and will relieve your headaches. |
