OUR CONCEPTS

We believe that adherence to a few important concepts guarantees that a website will be impressive and well received by the target audience.

How does your website rate on each of the points below?

1.

Always design a website from the perspective of the intended audience.
By planning ahead to meet the needs of the viewer, the site will have more traffic, more return visits, and visits of longer duration.

2.

The Home page is your only opportunity for a great first impression.
There are two dimensions to this - the visual and the mechanical.  For optimum visitor engagement, the site must be visually appealing, but not confusing.  The message must be clear.  And the navigation must be obvious and easy to use.
3.

People don't READ websites.  They scan them.
Build pages for easy scanning.  Details should be available for optional reading, but not in a traditional printed material format with long paragraphs.  Keep it simple.

4.

Pictures and graphics are wonderful.
They increase interest and engagement. Use them generously and make them large enough for easy recognition.

5.

Have some interactive functions.  Visitors like to participate.
Such activities can include Photo Galleries, Surveys, Forms, Giveaways, Requests for Information, Catalogs of products, Libraries of documents, and Shopping Carts to purchase a product or make an event reservation.

6.

Keep the site fresh and interesting.
Change pictures.  Have Specials.  Provide a section on What's New with links to the new information.

7.

Promote the site.
Be proactive with distribution of e-marketing pieces. They WILL drive traffic to the site.
Inform your network of the site and the needs it addresses.
Subscribe to Pay-Per-Click services for local targeted marketing on key words. This reaches people you don't know.
